Witschi Analyzer Twin for electronic and mechanical clocks

The combined measuring and testing apparatus combines the functions of measuring devices for quartz watches and measuring devices for mechanical watches. The basic functions and measurement processes are largely automated and guarantee fast and efficient use. Additional measurement modes allow measuring watches with special walking systems. Thanks to the high-resolution color screen, the Analyzer Twin is also suitable for the sales room.

The following measurements can be performed:

– Frequency measurement on mechanical clocks and quartz watches (taking into account the walking system)
– Instantaneous measurement of IC current
– Integral measurement of the total current over the measurement period
– Resistance measurement: measuring the resistance of the coil or testing the insulation of the coil
– Supply of the clock with variable voltages
– Pulse generator with programmable frequency, voltage, pulse width and chop ratio
– Automatic battery test as well as alarm and buzzer test for watches with alarm function
– Functional and working stage test of stepper motors with variable motor control
– Long-term testing of engine speed, power consumption and working level, calendar changes and time functions (closed clocks and movements)
– Graphical display of the current pulse shape
– Quick analysis of mechanical clocks with internal microphone (speed measurement)
– Automatic recognition of the most common oscillation numbers
– Measurement mode for testing watches with special walking systems (coaxial technology)
