Terms of sale and delivery for Lindholts Fourniturehandel

1 Lindholts Fourniturehandel

Lindholts Fourniturehandel wants to provide the best service in the industry. Orders received before 3 pm are shipped the same weekday (Friday before 1:30 pm).

Lindholts Fourniturehandel was founded in 1953 and has been selling goods online since 2000.

2 Products

Lindholts Fourniturehandel sells a wide range of products. All products comply with Danish legislation. www.lindholts.dk is constantly updated.

3 Prices

3.1
Prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and the price is stated excl. VAT. All prices are daily prices that are updated continuously.

3.2
Lindholts Fourniturehandel reserves the right to cancel a trade if incorrect prices are quoted on the website, as these are automatically generated.
The order confirmation sent is thus a copy of the shopping cart, and not an acceptance that the purchase is completed.
In case of price errors, Lindholts Fourniturehandel will contact you and you will be able to cancel the purchase at any time.

4 Payment

4.1
Payment can only be made by bank transfer. The amount is charged in DKK. Your order will only be shipped when we have registered your deposit in our account at Djurslands Bank.

Registration number: 7264 Account number: 1238117 – Always remember to state the invoice number/order number when transferring accounts.

4.2
After credit approval, you have the opportunity to create an account with Lindholts.

5 Ownership

5.1
Lindholts Fourniturehandel reserves ownership of the delivered goods until the entire purchase price incl. freight has been paid.
The buyer undertakes to keep the delivered products indemnified and insured until the entire purchase price has been paid.

6 Delivery

6.1
The freight is calculated automatically upon completion of the transaction. Delivery will usually take place the next day. During busy periods, Lindholts Fourniturehandel will not be able to comply with delivery the next day.

6.2
Delivery will most often be made with Post Danmark, FedEx or Danske Fragtmænd.

Delivery to business addresses will always be door to door.

Door-to-door delivery to private addresses can only take place if you actively select it when you are on the “basket”  page in our shop, otherwise we deliver to the nearest parcel shop. Free delivery will ALWAYS be done in the cheapest way.

It is possible to pick up an item or return an item at Lindholts Fourniturehandel’s physical address.

Pick up times:

Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 15.30 and Friday 8.30 – 14.00

In some periods, there may be limited opening hours, this is stated on the website during the booking.

It is possible to see/test the product. If you have questions about an item, please contact our customer service by mail/phone.

6.4
It is Lindholt’s Fourniturehandel responsibility in cooperation with our carrier that you receive your item in proper condition. Upon receipt of the item, you must check it for defects. Should your item be damaged upon receipt, you must point this out to the carrier

Always remember to state your invoice number when contacting Lindholts Fourniturehandel.

7 Preparation

In connection with purchases on www.lindholts.dk, you may have to assemble and prepare your product yourself. Required manuals included.

8 Right of withdrawal

8.1
ACCORDING TO DANISH LAW, YOU AS A CONSUMER HAVE A 14-DAY RIGHT OF RETURN ON GOODS PURCHASED ONLINE. THE 14 DAYS START ON THE DAY YOU RECEIVE/PICK UP THE ITEM.

THE RULES STIPULATE THAT YOU AS A CONSUMER MUST SEND AN EMAIL TO LINDHOLTS FOURNITUREHANDEL WITHIN 14 DAYS, AND THEN YOU HAVE 14 DAYS TO SEND THE ITEM BACK.

IN THE SHIPMENT, PLEASE LEAVE A COPY OF THE INVOICE SO THAT THE ORDER CAN BE IDENTIFIED.

ON THE INVOICE/DELIVERY NOTE, PLEASE STATE WHY THE ITEM IS BEING RETURNED.

A FEW WORKING DAYS AFTER RECEIVING YOUR RETURN, LINDHOLTS FOURNITUREHANDEL WILL CREDIT YOU FOR THE ITEM.

THE MONEY CAN BE RETURNED TO YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER OR CREDITED TO YOUR ACCOUNT WITH US.

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND IN YOUR ACCOUNT AFTER 14 WORKING DAYS, PLEASE CONTACT LINDHOLTS FOURNITUREHANDEL.

8.2
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO UNPACK YOUR ITEM TO SEE/TRY IT, AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE ITEM’S SALES VALUE. IN ORDER FOR US TO CREDIT THE ITEM AT FULL PRICE, IT MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION AS AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.
HAVE YOU FILLED UP LIQUIDS EG. OIL OR CLEANING FLUID, OR IF YOUR ITEM BEARS THE MARK OF HAVING BEEN USED, IT WILL NOT BE CREDITED AT FULL PRICE. USED ITEMS DO NOT HAVE THE SAME SALES VALUE, AND YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO HAVE APPROX. 10-30% OF THE NEW PRICE DEDUCTED FOR THE ITEM.

AS LINDHOLTS FOURNITUREHANDEL SELLS GOODS IN ORIGINAL CUSTOM-MADE PACKAGING, THE PRODUCT MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME PACKAGING.

8.3
IF YOU DO NOT PICK UP YOUR ORDER OR REFUSE RECEIPT, THE COST OF GETTING THE ITEM BACK WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR ORDER.

THE AMOUNT WILL VARY DEPENDING ON HOW WE DELIVERED YOUR ORDER. AS WE SHIP BOTH SMALL PARCELS AND LARGE MACHINES BY CARRIER, THE AMOUNT WILL DEPEND ON WEIGHT, VOLUME, ZIP CODE. DELIVERY TO A BUSINESS OR RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS.

A PACKAGE WILL TYPICALLY COST BETWEEN DKK 58.00 & 78.00 EX. VAT, AND A PACKAGE WITH CARRIER WILL TYPICALLY COST BETWEEN 275 & 550 DKK. EX. VAT ON BRIDGED ISLANDS. IN SPECIAL CASES, THE AMOUNT CAN BE UP TO DKK 2,500. EXCLUDING. VAT.

8.4
WHEN RETURNING, YOU PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT UNTIL LINDHOLTS FOURNITUREHANDEL HAS RECEIVED IT. SAVE THE TRACK AND TRACE CODE.

9 Registration and processing of personal data

Immediately after placing an order, the information is transferred from www.lindholts.dk to Lindholt’s Fourniturehandel warehouse management system. www.lindholts.dk use SSL encryption, which is the highest possible standard for encryption and security when shopping online on the Internet. Personal information is stored with the greatest possible security and is only disclosed to the extent necessary for trade.

10 Warranty/complaint

According to Danish legislation, all products are covered by a 2-year warranty.

Information about complaint options for private individuals:  If you have a complaint about a product or service that you have purchased from us, you can submit the complaint to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority’s Center for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution online via www.forbrug.dk. Please note that this service can only be used by private individuals. Undertakings cannot therefore have recourse to this appeal mechanism. The European Commission’s online complaint portal can also be used when filing a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. This type of complaint is submitted here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When filing a complaint, you must provide our email address info  info@lindholts.dk . This applies only to private individuals.

11 Complaints/defects

In case of complaint/defects, please send an email to info@lindholts.dk.
You can also contact our service department on tel.: 86 42 52 99.

A service employee will then decide whether:
– The product must be in a workshop.
– Whether you can carry out the repair yourself with new spare parts.
– Whether the product should be replaced.
– Whether the product should be returned.
